Lukas Koch

I'm a lecturer (~assistant professor, permanent) at the University of Sussex, UK. Until September 2024, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig under the supervision of Professor Felix Otto.

My research is mostly concerned with regularity questions in the Calculus of Variations and optimal transport. Recent focus have been questions concerning the regularity of optimal transport maps for p-cost and boundary regularity of minimisers of functionals with p-q-growth.
